I'm receiving the error "Error 0x80862000. Unsupported or inactive display adapter."

Intel AMT's KVM functionality (i.e. VNC) can only be used with the on-board Intel GPU, secondary graphical adapters are not supported (e.g. if you've installed a new Nvidia or ATI graphics card.).

You'll need to ensure that the on-board GPU is switched on (this will be controlled within your BIOS settings), and that your display is attached to the correct adapter port.
