I'm trying to view OpenGL content but it's not working

VNC Enterprise Edition
On Unix, if you are trying to view an OpenGL application over a VNC connection, you may see either a black window, or you may see it update once (like a screenshot), and not update again. This may be caused by the hardware OpenGL driver not implementing XDamage properly.
VNC
Try setting the "UpdateMethod" parameter in the VNC Server Options > Expert tab to 0.
VNC Enterprise Edition
Try setting the "UseDamage" parameter in the VNC Server Options > Expert tab to FALSE. This will switch the VNC Server to full-screen polling, so you may also want to tweak the "PollInterval" parameter if performance is degraded too much.
