I'm receiving the error "Server licence key is missing, invalid or has expired."

If you have already entered your trial license but are receiving this error, then it's likely you've entered the license key on the wrong computer. Please make sure that you have entered the license key on the VNC Server computer (this is the computer that you are connecting *to*).

To obtain a trial license key, see below.

Windows:

To trial VNC on the Windows platform you need to download and install the software from our website here.

VNC for Windows will prompt you for a license key during installation, from here you can select the 'Trial' button, which will install a 30-day trial license key.

If this button is greyed out, it means that a previous VNC license has been detected on your computer and you are not entitled to another VNC trial license. If you require an additional VNC trial license, please contact our support department here where you will be issued a trial license at the support team's discretion.

Unix:
You can obtain a 30-day free trial license here.

Mac OS X:
You can obtain a 30-day free trial license here.
