Where are Address Book files stored, can I share them?

VNC Address book files are stored in:

Windows XP: 
C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Application Data\RealVNC\VNC Address Book

Vista/Windows 7:
C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\RealVNC\VNC Address Book

Mac OSX
/Users/<user>/Library/VNCAddressBook

You can share the .vnc files from the address book, but if you have chosen to encrypt the passwords (which is the default behaviour) then you will need to either share the master password, or decrypt the address book entries prior to sharing them.

The Address Book location can also be shared.  You can share that folder, or point the Address Book at another location.

The location used is stored in the registry in this folder:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\RealVNC\VNC Address Book

Add a new String entry (or edit, if it's already there) called "AddressBook" and give it a value of the path to the shared folder you wish to use. e.g.

\\server\addressbook
